These Terms and Conditions set out the basis on which Oven Cleaning Hampstead provides professional oven cleaning and related domestic cleaning services to customers. By booking a service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, which form a contract between you and Oven Cleaning Hampstead.

1. Definitions

In these Terms and Conditions, the following definitions apply:

Customer means any individual or organisation requesting or receiving services from Oven Cleaning Hampstead.

Services means oven cleaning and any related cleaning work agreed in writing between Oven Cleaning Hampstead and the Customer.

Technician means a cleaning operative, contractor or representative assigned by Oven Cleaning Hampstead to perform the Services.

Premises means the property where the Services are to be delivered.

Agreement means the contract formed between the Customer and Oven Cleaning Hampstead incorporating these Terms and Conditions and any written confirmation of booking.

2. Scope of Services

Oven Cleaning Hampstead provides specialist oven cleaning services and may also provide related appliance and domestic cleaning services as agreed at the time of booking. The exact scope of work, including the number and type of appliances, the areas to be cleaned, and any additional services, will be confirmed in the booking confirmation.

The Services will be carried out using appropriate cleaning methods and products suitable for domestic oven cleaning. Technicians will use reasonable care and skill to achieve a high standard of cleaning; however, results may vary depending on the age, condition and prior maintenance of the appliance and surrounding fittings.

Oven Cleaning Hampstead does not undertake structural repairs, electrical work, gas work or any work that must legally be performed by a qualified engineer. If in the opinion of the Technician the appliance appears unsafe or not suitable for cleaning, the Technician may decline or modify the Service for safety reasons.

3. Booking Process

Customers may request a booking by contacting Oven Cleaning Hampstead and providing accurate information regarding the Premises, the type of oven or appliance, its condition, and any parking or access restrictions.

A booking is not confirmed until Oven Cleaning Hampstead has provided a booking confirmation, which may be sent in writing or provided verbally with reference to a booking date, time, address, and agreed price or price structure. Oven Cleaning Hampstead reserves the right to refuse a booking at its discretion.

Any times or dates for Services are offered in good faith but are approximate and subject to availability. Oven Cleaning Hampstead will use reasonable efforts to attend at the agreed time but cannot accept liability for delays beyond its reasonable control, including traffic conditions, adverse weather, or unforeseen operational issues.

The Customer is responsible for ensuring that access to the Premises is available at the booked time and that suitable parking arrangements can be made, in compliance with any local regulations.

4. Customer Responsibilities

The Customer must provide safe and reasonable access to the Premises, including entry to the relevant rooms, corridors, stairways and any areas where cleaning equipment must be used or stored during the visit.

The Customer must ensure a safe working environment, including the availability of adequate lighting, running water and electricity for the duration of the Service. Any known health and safety risks on the Premises must be disclosed to Oven Cleaning Hampstead in advance.

The Customer is responsible for supervising children, pets and vulnerable persons during the Service and must ensure that they do not interfere with the Technician or cleaning chemicals and equipment.

The Customer must not request the Technician to carry out any work that is illegal, unsafe, or outside the agreed scope of Services. The Technician may decline to perform any task they reasonably consider to be hazardous or inappropriate.

5. Pricing and Quotations

Prices for Services may be stated as fixed fees, hourly rates or package rates, and will be communicated at the time of booking or in a written quotation. All prices are based on the information provided by the Customer regarding the type and condition of the oven or appliance and the Premises.

Oven Cleaning Hampstead reserves the right to amend the quoted price if the information provided by the Customer is materially inaccurate or incomplete, or if the actual condition or size of the oven or appliance significantly differs from what was described. In such circumstances, the Technician will explain any necessary price adjustment before commencing work, and the Customer may choose to accept the revised price or decline the Service.

Where prices are given per appliance or per job, they are based on typical domestic usage and reasonable levels of soiling. Extremely heavy soiling, long-neglected appliances or specialist equipment may attract a surcharge, which will be discussed with the Customer before work proceeds.

6. Payments and Invoicing

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is due immediately on completion of the Service. Oven Cleaning Hampstead may request payment in cash, by card, or by other accepted payment methods communicated at the time of booking.

For some bookings, including larger or multiple-appliance jobs or commercial work, a deposit or full prepayment may be required to secure the appointment. Any such requirement will be made clear to the Customer in advance.

Where payment is not received on completion of the Service, Oven Cleaning Hampstead reserves the right to issue an invoice with payment due within a specified period. If payment is not made by the due date, Oven Cleaning Hampstead may charge interest and recovery costs in accordance with applicable law and may decline to provide further Services to the Customer until outstanding amounts are settled.

The Customer is responsible for ensuring that any payment details provided are correct and that there are sufficient funds or credit available to complete the transaction.

7. Cancellations and Rescheduling

The Customer may cancel or reschedule a booking by giving reasonable notice. Unless otherwise stated, at least 24 hours notice is required for cancellation or rescheduling of a standard domestic oven cleaning appointment.

If the Customer cancels or reschedules with less than the minimum notice, Oven Cleaning Hampstead may charge a late cancellation fee up to a reasonable proportion of the quoted price, taking into account any preparatory work, travel arrangements and lost opportunity to allocate the appointment to another Customer.

If the Technician attends the Premises at the agreed time but is unable to obtain access or is unable to commence the Service due to circumstances within the Customer's control, this may be treated as a late cancellation and a call-out or cancellation fee may be charged.

Oven Cleaning Hampstead may need to cancel or reschedule a booking due to unforeseen circumstances such as illness, equipment failure, extreme weather or other events beyond reasonable control. In such cases, the Customer will be offered an alternative appointment. Oven Cleaning Hampstead will not be liable for any indirect or consequential losses arising from such changes, but any prepayments for Services not carried out will be refunded or applied to a rescheduled appointment.

8. Access, Parking and Local Regulations

The Customer is responsible for ensuring that suitable parking is available for the Technician's vehicle during the appointment, in compliance with local parking restrictions. Any parking permits, visitor permits or instructions for pay-and-display or controlled parking zones should be provided to the Technician or communicated at the time of booking.

If no suitable parking is available and the Technician is unable to carry out the Service as a result, this may be treated as a late cancellation or aborted visit and may incur a fee. Any parking charges or fines arising directly from instructions given by the Customer or from the Customer's failure to provide accurate parking information may be added to the final bill.

9. Health, Safety and Use of Chemicals

Oven Cleaning Hampstead uses specialist oven cleaning products and equipment which are selected to be effective and appropriate for their intended use. Some products may contain chemicals that must be handled carefully and kept away from children, pets and food preparation during the cleaning process.

The Customer must not interfere with the Technician's equipment or chemicals and must follow any safety advice given by the Technician, including temporary restrictions on using the appliance until it has cooled, dried or been safety-checked after cleaning.

If any member of the household has allergies, sensitivities or medical conditions that could be affected by cleaning products, this must be disclosed before the Service commences so that reasonable adjustments can be considered.

10. Waste Handling and Environmental Compliance

During the course of the Services, Oven Cleaning Hampstead may remove grease, food residues and other waste from ovens and related appliances. Waste will be collected and disposed of in accordance with applicable waste management and environmental regulations.

Non-hazardous domestic waste arising from the cleaning process may be placed in the Customer's household waste or recycling bins, where permitted by local rules. In cases where separate removal is required, Oven Cleaning Hampstead will ensure that waste is handled responsibly and, where appropriate, transferred to authorised waste facilities.

The Customer must not request the Technician to dispose of chemicals, oils, electrical items or other materials in a manner that would contravene local waste regulations or environmental laws. Oven Cleaning Hampstead reserves the right to refuse any request that would result in improper disposal of waste.

11. Condition of Appliances and Limitations of Cleaning

The effectiveness of oven cleaning is influenced by the age, design, condition and previous maintenance of the appliance. While Oven Cleaning Hampstead aims to restore ovens to a high standard of cleanliness, heavy staining, corrosion, damage to enamel or glass, and burnt-on deposits that have accumulated over a long period may not be completely removable.

The Technician will use reasonable efforts to achieve the best result without causing damage to the appliance. In some cases, parts such as seals, bulbs, filters or panels may be fragile due to age or existing damage. Oven Cleaning Hampstead is not responsible for pre-existing defects or wear and tear that become apparent during the cleaning process.

The Customer acknowledges that cosmetic improvement is not guaranteed in all cases and that the primary aim of the Service is to remove grease and dirt to a reasonable and hygienic standard, proportionate to the condition of the appliance.

12. Damage, Liability and Insurance

Oven Cleaning Hampstead will exercise reasonable care and skill in providing the Services. In the unlikely event of accidental damage caused by the Technician during the Service, the Customer must notify Oven Cleaning Hampstead as soon as reasonably possible, and in any event within 48 hours of the incident, providing reasonable details and evidence.

Oven Cleaning Hampstead may inspect the alleged damage and may request access to the Premises to assess the situation. Where damage is clearly and solely attributable to the negligence of Oven Cleaning Hampstead or its Technician, and subject to any applicable exclusions or limitations in these Terms, Oven Cleaning Hampstead may arrange repair, replacement or compensation at its discretion.

Oven Cleaning Hampstead shall not be liable for any of the following: pre-existing damage or deterioration to appliances, fixtures or fittings; indirect or consequential loss including loss of profits, loss of enjoyment or loss of use; damage arising from faulty installation or manufacturing defects; or damage where the Customer has failed to follow the Technician's advice or has misused the appliance after cleaning.

Nothing in these Terms shall limit or exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.

13. Complaints and Service Issues

If the Customer is dissatisfied with any aspect of the Service, they should raise the issue with Oven Cleaning Hampstead promptly, preferably within 24 hours of completion. Oven Cleaning Hampstead will review the concern and, where appropriate, may arrange for a Technician to revisit the Premises to inspect or rectify any reasonable issues related to the agreed scope of work.

Any complaint must relate to Services actually provided and must not be used as a reason to withhold payment for completed work, except where there is a genuine and substantial dispute in good faith. Oven Cleaning Hampstead will aim to resolve complaints fairly and efficiently, taking into account the condition of the appliance, the agreed work, and the limitations described in these Terms.

14. Data Protection and Privacy

Oven Cleaning Hampstead may collect and process personal data required to arrange and provide the Services, including Customer names, addresses, and booking or payment details. Such data will be processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws and used solely for the purpose of administering bookings, providing Services, and managing the business relationship with the Customer.

Customer information will not be sold to third parties. Data may be shared with Technicians and service providers as necessary to carry out the Services and to fulfil legal or regulatory obligations.

15. Changes to Terms and Conditions

Oven Cleaning Hampstead may amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in law, industry practice or service offerings. The version in force at the time of the Customer's booking will apply to that particular Service, unless a change is required by law or expressly agreed with the Customer.

Updated Terms and Conditions may be made available on request or published on relevant company literature or online pages. Customers are encouraged to review the Terms periodically if they use the Services on a recurring basis.

16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions and any Agreement between Oven Cleaning Hampstead and the Customer shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

Any dispute arising out of or in connection with the Services or these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, without prejudice to any statutory rights that may apply to the Customer as a consumer.

17. Severability

If any provision or part-provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable by a court or competent authority, that provision or part-provision shall be deemed deleted to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

18. Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions, together with any written booking confirmation or agreed variations, constitute the entire Agreement between Oven Cleaning Hampstead and the Customer in relation to the Services, and supersede any prior statements, understandings or representations, whether oral or written, relating to the same subject matter.

By proceeding with a booking, the Customer confirms that they have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions and that they are authorised to enter into this Agreement in respect of the Premises where the Services will be carried out.
